I bought the new controller installed it in 15 min can only fix one screw because it’s bigger. Looking now for a way to isolate it from water damage, thinking of gluing the box to the frame with some pattex one for all type of glue.

Scooter now drives around 55 to 75 depending on road slopes but the overall feeling is now I can blend in the traffic no longer the turtle of em all ;))

    Hi Andy,

I ordered back in June another controller (Lingbo 72252) but the hall cables were missing and wasn’t able to connect it with the supplied cables back to the original controller to boost the speed. The chinese shop told be this controller is for the maverick not the niu N1S. So if you have any luck or other kind of cables or any other hack I guess i won’t be the only one to be interested… Keep us in the loop mate ! 🙂

Did you try to unplug / replug the battery to “reset’ the GPS? It might work.

TRA01C10 firmware will fix the time zone issue.

How did you speed up your original controller?

The controller is not compatible with the european version of the controller. There is a 6 pin connector (hall) that is not in the EU version.

Some soldering and doc reading will be required… investigating

Same issue here my controller doesn’t have the 6 pin connector but I’m sure there can be a workaround with the second generation of controllers shown on taobao? Did your seller provide a solution?

Hello! I am John and in Brussels for now. I just got my n1s black mat today! I was riding 20 km with it and loved it but I have ordered the Ling Bo controller in China to upgrade the speed it’s damn too slow and I think too dangerous need to blend in with the traffic 😛

Enrico try to unplug the battery and repugnant it while the scooter is outside with GPS signal and you’ll see the magic. Your app will get the data from the scooter… It’s a bug in their software

Hi H. VanLEE… I found on TaoBao another controller (only available on pre-order) that is more powerful than the models mentioned in the forum. The controller claims to output 110Amps.. It’s the ref. 72252. Which controller did you put in your N1S? The 72182? 65A ?

Here is a link on TaoBao
