Dear all,
I’m driving the Niu N1s for 1 year now. I did 140 charges and the battery is degrading seriously now. It’s 5 degrees outside which shouldn’t be a serious problem. I think I can manage to drive it one more year with this pack.
Do we already have a cheap alternative for this expensive battery pack?
I tought about replacing every cell (170 in total). It’s a matter of screwing it open and replacing all the cells by new 18650 cells. But, I don’t know how the scooter will react.. Maybe NIU is degrading my battery on purpose? Most likely we have beter batteries these days with higher capacity.. I would rather be safe than sorry in this case.
Anyone have experience with these battery packs?
