So, my 15-year old has had his N1s for two months now and he’s very happy with it. Get’s 60km out of it in -10°C on winter tyres and zips away from his ICE-bike friends.

One problem though is the headlight’s narrow angle. It’s good when going straight, even the high beam works alright going straight. But when using it on regular winding roads in dark, wintertime Sweden, they do not work at all. I’ve found a good and small 12V/5W LED extra light meant for regular motorcycles, that’s fits OK on the side of the windshield. The light can be fastened against the steering handle and has waterproof connectors.

My idea is to connect it to the highbeam output somehow on J13-B pin 1 and 3. Do you see any problem with this? The load should work OK.

Good question! I started started a thread about his before seeing your thread.

      You thinking of Vision X?

I am considering one of three options.

      1. It is possibly to swap out the head light to one of these from Vision X? https://www.visionxusa.com/article/motorcycle-application-guide/
      2. Connect these 3″ Optimus Halos from Vision X if the voltage is right. https://www.visionxusa.com/shop/3-0-3-7-optimus-halo/#specWrap
      3. If the voltage isn’t right then I will go with these with an external battery pack and switch. http://www.visionxeurope.com/en/artiklar/vision-x-hand-held-solstice-batteri-pack-65ah.html
