Brought a brand new Niu N1s.
Almost reached 200km, after my work I tried to start… But shows an error 161.
Blocked??? What happend, can I reset by mmyself?

Error 161 seems to be a new one introduced with the 2018 models and to my knowledge surfaced only one time.
Officially it means “The scooter is locked via remote control” and the solution is “please contact your dealer for professional help”. Sigh…
The good thing is, the one guy who had this error schlepped his NIU to the dealer to demonstrate the Error and -bam- it vanished π
Did you try switch it off-and-on again? (with a pause, maybe)
