20% battery drop in 2 seconds!?

      I am a happy NIU N1s owner. I have now driven it for about 1100 km and this friday the battery went from 20% charge to 0% in 1 second, and it stopped almost dead, lights and display worked but nothing else?!

      It was not very cold, about 5-6 degrees C, I have allways charged the battery at least 10 degrees C, never under.

      The app said it did activated a discharge protection, and I guess therefore battery % became 0% even though it had power.

      The question is, WHY this happened? And what can I do to prevent it from happening again?

      The scooter was not under any abnormal stress compared to any other day.

      Any ideas?

      It just happened to me as well.
      Niu N1S, 5781Km – battery 103 cycles, usually charged at 25-30% up to 85-95% (never below 20ºC).
      On the way back home (temperature ~10ºC) the battery dropped instantaneously from 27% to 0%.It entered discharge protection mode.
      I am now trying to charge it back. Let’s see what happens.

      Any idea of what could have happened?
